Lansing’s Best Sign Shop Since 1979
Discount One Hour Signs was started when the original owner had a need for multiple reasonably-priced signs to be created for his eight hair salon businesses. He found a sign shop in Flint with a sign press that used wood and metal type on a two foot by four foot metal table that was capable of producing multiple signs quickly and efficiently. Admiring the simplicity of the business concept, he bought a used sign press and type, and transported the idea to Lansing where Discount One Hour Signs was born!
While we began as a simple sign maker, we have evolved as our clients’ needs have. Over the years we became experts at more than just sign design and production, we have added expertise in:
- large-format graphics design and production
- ADA signage
- banner and flag design and production
- vehicle graphics (lettering, full-color graphics, and magnets)
- corporate and vanity walls
- full-color window graphics, window clings, and frosted or custom vinyl
- and murals, posters, clings, magnets, wall directories and graphic mesh.
These additional services have expanded our capabilities, but our core purpose remains the same: to outfit businesses and non-profits with excellent sign and graphic advertisements. This core focus is made possible by the incredible staff at Discount One Hour Signs alongside our investment in the latest sign-making and display graphic technology. This combination of people and tech is what makes us special, and keeps customers coming back year after year.
In 2016, Foresight Group purchased Discount One Hour Signs to expand its own growing sign and wide format printing business. The merger has been a great benefit to both companies, as the expanded capabilities and services have helped customers with a wider variety of sign and display graphic solutions.
In 2017, Foresight Group also purchased Stamprite, who also designs and manufactures signs, but also sells identification markers and marking devices. The combination of services and expertise that these three companies shared led to the forming of Foresight SuperSign, to manage any display graphic or sign need.
